What are societies and how do they affect the sim?

In World Simulation Club, Societies are factions, movements, or coalitions that players can choose to affiliate with during a Sim-Flow. They add a layer of political, cultural, or ideological tension to the simulation, and offer new opportunities—and risks. Each Society has: - **A core philosophy or mission** (e.g., Expansionism, Sustainability, Technocratic Order) - **Affinity traits** it values (e.g., Innovation, Loyalty, Courage) - **Opposition traits** that it views with suspicion - **Access to unique Actions, Scenarios, or Gear** Joining a Society may: - Unlock new narrative threads - Offer protection or bonuses in certain locations - Provide collective missions or Society-wide outcomes - Create rivalries with members of competing Societies You may align with a Society for one Sim-Flow or carry a lasting membership across multiple. Some societies are always available; others only appear during limited-time events or special sponsor simulations. Societies allow players to influence world direction in a coordinated way. Entire simulations may be shaped by their philosophies and agendas.
